The Parallel
Method.

Canada’s only new home sales training program rooted in human-centered emotional intelligence.

A System Built for How People Actually Change.

High performance in new home sales is never the result of a single training day. Built through a purposeful system - one that starts with self-awareness, develops skills through structured repetition, and holds people accountable in a way that actually sticks.

OUR APPROACH

Grounded Intelligence

It's built through a purposeful system - one that starts with self-awareness, develops skills through structured repetition, and holds people accountable in a way that actually sticks. After 24 years in BC's most competitive sales environments, I've learned that the gap between a team that performs and one that plateaus almost never comes down to knowledge. It comes down to psychology, habits, and whether anyone is paying attention to both.

Every Parallel & Co. engagement integrates EQ-i 2.0 emotional intelligence assessment into the training framework - because knowing your people at a psychological level changes everything about how you coach them.

We don't just teach teams what to do. We build the kind of people who understand why they do it - and how to keep doing it when the market gets hard.

METHODOLOGY

A four-phase training framework for new home sales teams and the leaders who build them.

PHASE 1:
GROUND Your Foundation

Before we build skills, we build self-awareness. Every engagement begins with an EQ-i 2.0 assessment for each team member, team analysis, and a full audit of your current sales culture, product knowledge, and market positioning. We establish the baseline - because you can’t measure growth without one.

What’s Delivered:

  • EQ-i 2.0 individual assessment and debrief sessions

  • Team needs assessment and performance gap analysis

  • Market and product knowledge foundation workshop

  • Buyer psychology overview: how buyers think, decide, and commit

Delivery Methods:

  • Individual assessment sessions

  • Half-day foundational workshop

  • Pre-training workbook

Outcome:

Every team member understands their emotional intelligence profile, their natural strengths, and the specific gaps that are quietly costing them in the sales centre.

Behind her, there is a wall with a large poster featuring a photo of children playing outside and a text that reads 'Three and Four Bedroom Townhomes.' The background includes a wooden wall, a window showing an outdoor scene with trees and a patio structure, and electrical outlets beneath the window.

PHASE 2:
GROW Your Skills

This is where the real work begins. We build your team’s core sales skill set from the inside out - starting with the buyer psychology and building through every critical moment in the sales process: the greeting, the discovery, the presentation, the handling of objections, and the close.

What’s Delivered:

  • Core new home sales process: from first contact to commitment

  • Urgency and UVP frameworks: how to make the case for now

  • Conversation skills, objection handling, and closing methodology

  • Psychology of the sale: influence, trust, and buyer decision-making

Delivery Methods:

  • Full-day classroom or virtual workshop

  • Online video recordings and lessons

Outcome:

Your team has a shared sales language, a repeatable process, and the skills to guide any buyer through any objection - from curiosity to commitment.

PHASE 3:
GUIDE With Influence

High-performing teams don’t happen without high-performing leaders. This phase is built for the managers, sales directors, team leaders, and developer partners who need to sustain the performance we build together.  We go deep into coaching skills, accountability, frameworks, and the emotional intelligence practices that keep a team functioning at its peak - through every market cycle.

What’s Delivered:

  • Sales leadership coaching and manager-as-coach frameworks

  • EQ 360 assessment and debrief for leaders

  • Culture and accountability: how to hold standards without micromanaging and burning people out

  • Hard conversation frameworks: performance communication done right

Delivery Methods:

  • 1:1 executive coaching sessions

  • Half-day leadership workshop

  • EQ 360 group debrief facilitation

Outcome:

Your sales leaders can coach rather than manage. They know how to identify performance gaps before they cost sales, have hard conversations with confidence, and keep culture intact when the market creates pressure.

PHASE 4:
GIVE With Purpose

What’s Delivered:

  • On-site field coaching at your presentation centre and model homes

  • Live observation and in-the-moment coaching at the point of performance

  • Role-play and scenario simulations with structured debrief

  • Performance measurement, accountability systems, and ongoing reinforcement plan

Delivery Methods:

  • On-site field coaching visits

  • Accountability calls

  • Performance assessment

Outcome:

Skills transfer from the classroom to the sales floor - and the results go beyond the numbers. When people are genuinely equipped, coached, and supported, something shifts. Job satisfaction rises. Team morale strengthens. People stop leaving.

Because great training doesn't just build performance. It builds belonging.

The final phase is about giving everything you have - to your buyers, your team, and the standard you've committed to. Phase 4 moves every skill, insight, and habit developed across the first three phases into the real environment: your presentation centre, your model homes, and the live buyer conversations where it all has to land.

Giving is the highest expression of what this training is built for. It is not about closing harder - it is about showing up so fully, so clearly, and so confidently that the buyer feels it.  The true measure of great training is not what your team learned. It is what they give.

CORE VALUES

1. Sales is always a human skill before it is a numbers skill.

Every buyer relationship is built on trust, not tactics. The salesperson who understands psychology, theirs and their buyer’s, will always outperform the one who knows only the script.

2. Emotional intelligence isn’t a soft skill. It is the skill.

Self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to manage yourself under pressure are the foundations of high performance. They can be measured, developed, and taught and they change careers.

3. High performance requires structure, not just motivation.

A fired-up team without a system is just noise. Lasting results come from repeatable processes, clear standards, and a culture of accountability that holds without becoming punishing

4. Training without follow-through is just an event.

Most training falls short because it ends when the workshop does. Lasting change comes through repetition, reinforcement, and real-time coaching. That's why I work alongside your team as a field coach.

5. People perform best when they are seen, supported, and equipped.

Not pushed. Not managed. Not monitored for mistakes. When leaders create the conditions for people to grow, they do.

6. You can build a great career and be a good person.

Success in sales does not require you to be someone you’re not. The best salespeople I know are curious, genuine, and deeply committed to the people they serve.
